How much storage could it really take

that's the thing we don't know , sites like unddit used pushshift to archive reddit posts , vomments, etc, and its dead so these websites are effectively dead, so i don't think we can do it here.

the images are usually hyperlinks that could stay links.

and imgur started purging old images, where most reddit images are hosted.

can you search the web for links with lemmy like you would with reddit? (lemmy.jamestrey.com)
 

when i want to search something i add after it the word 'reddit' to get good results , can i do the same with lemmy?, is lemmy indexed by search engines?

i think it need a lot of storage, and considering that pushshift is dead idk think it will be possible to do it at all

reddit was really bad anyways
