There is a tendency among some academics to prescribe individual solutions to systemic problems, when those problems are men's problems. For example, Diprete and Buchman, sociologists, in chapter 6 of in c/[email protected]

Batman is a smart guy who built a lot of tech. IronMan is similar. For fuck sackes Charles Xavier BUILT A SCHOOL! The issue is not male role models in movies.

Maybe the issue is the fact that education is dominated by women. We need more women in tech and more men in HEAL.
