You have the knowledge to understand the tablet in a way that I do not. I can follow instructions and understand explanations why things occur. However, I’m not a programmer I don’t have enough base knowledge to truly understand what I’m doing.

I guess some of these are cool, but I’m fine with features as they roll them out. I used to be the guy who loved to hack things… but now, I accept things for what they are and I’m at peace with that

Forget where I saw it on this sub, but someone pointed to the Dell Chromebook 5190 2-In-1 Active EMR 828TT Pen. It’s on eBay for $10ish.

Works great so far. The eraser works, but it’s not pressure sensitive and is wide. The tip is more gel pen than pencil. Can’t replace the tip unfortunately, but some might like it.

Any ideas on how to add weight to it? I like how it feels (I don’t like thick pens), but I’d prefer some weight and texture to it.

I’m having trouble moving a page out of Quicksheets into a new notebook. It will be stuck on ellipses forever. Instead, I have to create a new notebook separately and then move the page to it.

Decent idea, but I think it needs a little refinement

I logged in and this is what I see. Looks like a little bit better than the Black Friday discount. I didn't get the email. Did you receive the email yesterday or today? This is active as of today (11/16):

Hey folks - I’m thinking about getting a ReMarkable companion. Something that I can read things on while taking notes on the ReMarkable. I’m considering an iPad mini or Kindle. I suppose it comes down to whether I want to watch presos or not. Does anyone else do this? Pros and cons of either? Other options?

(I was thinking my laptop or desktop suffices… which it does. Sometimes, I like the portability of a more feature rich tablet, though. Wouldn’t replace or give up my ReMarkable, though. Definitely appreciate it as a notebook and when I need to be distraction free.)

Hmm… but what OP did still costs about $110
