Others have mentioned it already, but I wanted to chime in and say that I've been really liking the Tabasco Sriracha sauce. It's different from "real" Sriracha, more garlicky for one thing (a positive in my book). I don't consider it a replacement, but since it's impossible to find the original where I'm at, I consider it the next best thing.

In the garage is fine, but this is about inputs and outputs. Electricity entering or leaving a house via a garage (or front door), and not via power lines, generally indicates something is very wrong. That's quite a large air gap to cross after all.

There's also "bless your heart". Around here if someone tells you that, it is not a compliment.

It's a New York thing to refer to the rural Northern and Western parts of New York State that are not New York City. No one (or at least very very few) outside of New York State uses it to refer to any other place.
