Ich habe schon einen neuen Account erstellt, war bisher aber zu faul die Communities neu zu abonnieren, bzw. deren Nachfolger zu suchen. Werde ich bestimmt bald mal machen …

Mein Ikea Bekant hat einfach ein riesiges Stoffnetz unter der Platte gespannt. Darin habe ich eine lange Mehrfachsteckdose und alle Netzteile gelegt. Ist optisch nicht die schönste Kabelführung, es gibt zB. auch kein Loch, aber sehr flexibel einsetzbar.

Edit: mein Modell ist von 2014, die aktuelle Serie heißt wohl Idåsen.

I did the „convert 3 years of prepaid Xbox Gold into Game Pass Ultimate“ trick. That way I paid 100€ (3x33€ for Gold+ 1€ to convert to GP) flat for three years of Game Pass, which is an incredible deal.

I don’t know what I will do when the prepaid time runs out. I’m enjoying the content, but before I was quite happy with heavily discounted games. I don’t need to play on day one.

My take, as a German, without looking up the historic consensus: In Germany the oppression against Jews gradually increased from 1933 until WWII started in 1939. This gave many the opportunity to emigrate. In Eastern Europe, Germany quickly invaded („Blitzkrieg“) and immediately stated rallying the Jews into ghettos and started murdering them. There was no real chance to emigrate or flee.

Someone convinced me to study computer science 20 years ago. The career possibilities with good money and easy work have put the rest of life on easy mode (for now). Even meeting my wife and having my family would never have happend without that decision.

In das AZK zahlt man Geld ein, zB kann man variable Leistungen wie den Bonus teilweise, aber auch jeden Monat einen Teil des Fixgehaltes ins AZK fließen lassen. Dh. ich zahle heute Stunden zu meinem aktuellen Stundensatz ein und entnehme später (Auszeit, FIRE, etc. mit weiterlaufender Gehaltszahlung) zum zukünftigen Stundensatz.

Das ist nur dann attraktiv, wenn die Stundensatzerhöhung über der Inflation liegt, was in den letzten paar Jahren nicht mehr so war.

Thumbs up for the Silo series. Even though it’s not in outer space, many other boxes tick: multi-generation, environmental systems, spoiled planet …

On days that I know I will only join meetings and reply to mails, I just take my iPad to the office. Combined with a BT keyboard and mouse, plugged into the big screens (USB-C), it’s just like a full PC.

You can move windowed apps around, arrange them just fine, especially if you extend instead of mirror the iPad screen. But that only works with mouse and keyboard, not with touch only.

Yeah, that song stood the test of time (at least the test of a decade).
