Oh you're right, I looked again and found the releases page on github, they have windows, macos (also aarch64), ubuntu, and Appimage for everybody else (x86 tho yeah)

Yeah, in this case quantity makes the poison (mycotoxins can be on so many foods, we don't go lab-testing every bite), and all the people saying the mould root system is already soo deep are overly paranoid, those fungi started from the outside you are definitely cutting most of it just by using your eyes and cutting with a tiny safety margin.

That's a great usage, I'll definitely try that! Plus it's seems actually usable by average Joes for quickly starting a private chat. Hopefully they'll start packaging the CLI version for linux distros (idk why but I prefer downloading a package to using an install script), also I saw that simplex will release a desktop version of the app

Hey thanks for this suggestion, you motivated me to look into simplex a bit more than just lazily downloading it on my phone

A 2tb sata ssd goes for like 65 coins nowadays..pick AV1 & HEVC and you won't be able to watch that amount in a year..so you can seed for a year too! :)

Hi people, so weird but if anyone's reading this, I thought there was only one comment on this post, the one by @nomadjoanne, turns out there were actually way more from two months ago, but they're invisible from my instance (sh.itjust.works)

How could I see this one (from a lemmy.world user) but not others by users of the same instance? Anyone know of a possible explanation? Ty

I agree with all this and will add that, even though what GrapheneOS team is doing is very admirable, the very fact that LOS (and automatically Lineage4microg) runs on hundreds of devices, makes the latter way more useful to a LOT of people (meaning a lot less throwaway tech too), plus not tieing you down to a single hw vendor!

Heck, even an old enough Pixel phone that programmatically loses Graphene's support, is still almost garanteed support from LOS for many years

In my mind LOS is 95% of the way there, microg 97%, GOS 99%? As far as android goes, they're all great

Hey, at least installing a foss browser won't slow down your phone like a spyware app, you could always try something like Mull even for only a portion of your browsing if you have ~80MB to spare. I suggest it because I hate some of that extra bullshit that comes with standard Firefox. Also there's tons of projects that try similar stuff with Chromium! Like Mulch. Way better defaults than Chrome

You could also checkout the "Caffè" community on feddit.it, it's for chitchat or questions

I also had a flight early in the morning at Bergamo airport, the buses to it depart from Milan Central Station (actually outside of it, you'll see buses parked). I just checked here and they seem to be operational on the 15th, maybe call them if you want to be sure. There is a McDonald nearby in case you need to kill some time waiting for the bus, also the airport is not open in the night so you cannot go the day before

Or, they have a commercial interest or are paid by someone who does. Fucking losers either way
