What I have noticed is that if you add “before:2025” (or any other future date) it doesn’t show the unrelated stuff.

How much work is making a Minecraft server from scratch? What things need to be implemented? I saw on the GitHub that placing and destroying blocks was implemented, so I’m guessing it’s a lot of work

Needs a proprietary name though

You can also swipe right while in the feed to access your subscriptions

From what I understand, this technology will be able to detect if an image has been modified. How will that stop people from training AIs on a persons face and then generate an entirely new image? This is possible right now and I’m sure it will be even easier and more realistic in just a few years

Hi! As someone who doesn’t use flashlights often at all I’m quite curious how often you actually use flashlights. Are they like an everyday carry?

I like playing Tetris. You could either play 1v1 or battle royale style. It’s pretty frustrating at first but when you get a little good it’s basically second nature

Best ones I know are Jstris or Tetr.io. Jstris is more minimal and good if you don’t like flashy graphics and Tetr.io is basically the opposite of that.

Depends on how simple you mean. I’ve made countless games that are super simple and took just a couple of hours. I advise that OP makes one of these games and not a “real” game since I honestly don’t think ChatGPT can make a big game without a programmer that knows what they’re doing

Voyager is also available at m.lemmy.world since I see you are using lemmy.world

It’s just a joke that gamers don’t want anything “woke” in their games. So a browser made for gamers of course won’t have anything woke in it.

It’s just a trait of circlejerk communities, recycling jokes over and over again on every post

I’ve never understood the appeal of OperaGX. It’s always seemed over-engineered and full of features I’ll never use.

And their Twitter is so off-putting and posts so questionable stuff that I don’t really want to be associated with that browser

They should really use some of this AI innovation to improve on Siri, I mean the thing has barely improved since launch. Siri has such limited use cases that I barely use it at all

Pretty interesting that you can see that this picture was taken from the southern hemisphere from the angle of the moon. I’m not used to seeing the moon from this angle, so this was pretty cool!

Last time I didn’t upgrade for a long while some drivers broke, maybe I’ll just switch to NixOS this time since it seems interesting. Does anyone here use NixOS? What do you think about it?

Can currently not view anything, I’ve tried refreshing multiple times, reloading the app and downgrading. Has been going on for about an hour or two now.

I see some posts while sorting by hot that are as old as 2 years. I sincerely doubt that those posts would show up while sorting by hot, and I’m not even sure there are posts that old on lemmy. I saw a post that had an article written 2 weeks ago, and the post said it was 2 weeks old which leads me to believe posts show the age of the link

I would love to be able to see what instance someone is commenting from or what instance a community is in. There should be an option to add @instance after usernames and community names

If I scroll for some time posts start reappearing
