Ah. You pray at the altar of Google with the mantra: "It only works in Chrome or Edge. Why not upgrade your browser?"

What could possibly go wrong with giving all the power to one browser engine? If only there was a precedent to learn from...

I really wish this would gain some traction. As it is, there is just not enough content there to compete with YouTube in any reasonable way.

TBF, that's actually a pretty profound insight.

Most, if not all, of us take certain concepts for granted until someone points out that it's more complex than we realise. Examples like Dark Energy & Matter, entropy, the placebo effect, the nature of mathematical objects, etc. are proof of this.

Demos used to be a lot more common. It used to be the norm for most games. Now it's extraordinary.

For anyone who is unaware of what this refers to, it is this website:

https://camelcamelcamel.com/

The website describes it's services like so:

Our free Amazon price tracker monitors millions of products and alerts you when prices drop, helping you decide when to buy.

I don't understand why anyone downvotes an "unpopular opinion" posted in the "Unpopular Opinion" community. The post is clearly on topic. It's not offensive. Most will disagree with it. All good here.

What is the meaning of the downvote in that case? That it should be more popular?

Some people say that it is fun, witty, and action-packed, while others say that it is repetitive, unrealistic, and boring. What do you think? Do you recommend it or not?

Both seem to be fantastic projects. What are the differences? Which use cases do they respectively excel in? What are their pros and cons? Curious what you think.

Every time I board my own freighter, all the navigation markers in the system disappear while I am looking at them. Those that are out of sight remain visible. My freighter is fully stocked with all stations and lots of decorative items, rooms and so forth. Rumour has it that this has something to do with the workstations and that they should be removed. Extremely annoying. Does anyone have a workaround while we wait for a fix?

"People ask me how I make music. I tell them I just step into it. It’s like stepping into a river and joining the flow. Every moment in the river has its song." - Michael Jackson

Controversial as he was and is, he left his mark.
