I'd call them ice pops. Favorite would be purple/black assuming they're "grape^tm^", because I'm a trash person. Second would be red, third would be orange. Blue would weird me out so I wouldn't try it. It's probably raspberry, which I'm not a fan of. Finally, I'd assume green was sour apple or lime, which I also don't like. Though if they turned out to be watermelon then I'd be missing out

Subscribed! Used Sync for the last several years, looking forward to the first release.

Neither have we defederated them, nor they us. I think it's just that they're such a large instance that it's slowed things down. I just checked, we're at 5.7k users, whereas they're at 35k.

Edit: I agree with you though, @[email protected] should post this to [email protected] instead of here. Maybe we should have an instance tech issues community? Do we have a tech issues community?

I disagree, sometimes I want to be counted but don't want to vote for an option, and I think that's valid.

I would vote aye to defederate any meta/facebook instance, and probably any tech giant instance for that matter.

But everyone of them is super posh so they should have a mixture of Boston and a posh UK accent

Nay, TheDude recently added captcha for account creation and I think we should wait and see if that's sufficient before voting to further restrict things

This assumes @[email protected] is willing to do this. Even if he is, I for one would feel bad about foisting off work like this onto him. Little annoyances like these add up

This all isn't happening immediately. It'll be debated for a good while, and then voted on, and then it'll take some work to actually implement assuming it passes. No one's going to go through everyone's account individually to verify their vote, we'll need a bot for that.

Also, I don't think 2 weeks is that long at all. The vast majority of everyone's time on this instance they will be eligible for voting. I really don't see why 2 weeks when they first make an account is such a huge amount.
