To me, this gets a pass because of the time it was built.

I find that the bike lane doesn't exist most of the time, actually.

Like, the lane is just a white line against the edge of the road, and it's just drop off/tall grass on the other side.

To me, it's on the edge of mansion vs mcmansion. I don't like the color and shape, and I don't like the roofing. I agree with you though, it is much more cohesive than other mcmansions.

If they literally just reached out to Reddit as a whole and asked people for answers to their problems (making reddit profitable, loadbearing, etc), this all would have been solved.

My thought is that they noticed you get less sick the older the berry/plant is, despite it being poisonous at the start. So, they realized the bad parts were breaking down the longer it existed and thus decided to try and keep it for a long time to get something edible.
