I have a sizeable Plex library currently stored in 4 2.5" HDDs attached through a SATA hat to my Raspberry Pi 4. It served me well as a Plex server in the years since I've got it but I've recently outgrown the Pi and I'm about to move my small homelab to a Mini PC. I was wondering if it'd be a bad idea leaving the four disks attached to the Pi while moving my Plex server to the Mini PC, serving the files through SMB.

Thanks for the tip! The IT variant definitely looks promising.

Is it just me or there's no products like the one in the title? Living in Italy all my wall sockets are type-C compatibile and using a smart plug means I need to go device->adapter->smart plug->adapter->socket.

I'm new in this space and since I only have a RPi4 for now to play with I'm in need of a personal cloud/ file sharing software with users support that doesn't hog resources. I remember trying Next Cloud a couple of years ago for an unrelated reason and it slowed my Raspberry to a crawl.

If it has an app/ can be used to mount a drive it's better.
