I would recommend using the same one I used but I can't remember. Doesn't matter. Just be consistent in the entire property. Makes it easier to trace things later on. If you punch them down nicely then that day will never come.

What sensor are you using?

Shutdown your router for 30 minutes. It will probably get assigned a new IP after reconnecting to the internet.

Kasa plugs are like $8 each and use wifi. I have a drawer full of them.

If you use Home Assistant you can pitch that ring alarm. I did my own alarm in Home Assistant. You can use any number of triggers to arm the alarm.

With Home Assistant you can also use Keymaster and program the locks keycodes from Home Assistant. Much easier than using the lock to program codes.

If you have a zwave or zigbee dongle or any dongle for that matter, unplug it wait 15 seconds and then plug it back in. If that fails after 2 minutes restart the controller.

I have a pair of them. For the price you can't beat them. Sure there are better ones. You should get one and try it out. If you don't use if for streaming you can use it to know what your home automations are doing. It's easy to cast text to voice to them.
