The way I solved this was by setting up a hotspot on my phone with the same SSID as my home network. The Chromecast doesn't know the difference.

Just tried to register an account for Loops (there are 1000 videos available according to the fediverse report), no email received so far, have other people encountered the same issue? in c/[email protected]

I just tried registering as well, same issue. It looks like a problem with their registration process, I tried resetting my password and it was unable to find my email.
