Realtek driver issue? (lemmy.world)
 

Hi everyone, so I appear to have an issue with a realtek driver that doesn't want to get fixed.

"Failed to install rtl8821ce-dkms."

Something along these lines pop up everytime I try to update an app.

Does anyone have any solutions? I'm rather new to Linux and Pop_OS, but this is the only thing that's been particularly bugging me.

I got into Linux and the Fediverse.

My overall feeling is the sense that I'm actually saving money with a hobby for once? It's new.

Oh, so the person who posted their tiny penis on the feminism community actually admitted to it? Fascinating. They do know their post lasted like two minutes, right? I was more impressed with Beehaw's moderation team acting so fast than I was with their quick shot.

Hello! Just wondering if you'd personally recommend Digital Devil Saga or Raidou Kuzunoha to someone coming from Devil Survivor 1/2 and the Persona series?

I used to own the games as a teen and then I never played them because I was too busy with the other games, so I'm interested in re-exploring them and giving them a shot.

What has ultimately helped you out the most with your ADHD? (lemmy.world)
 

Personally the things hat have helped me out the most include:

Notetaking - I have grudgingly come to the conclusion that my memory isn't....good, so I just started taking notes on everything and anything that I learn.

Active learning applied to life has helped me a lot, and being able to have one software for everything I need to remember helps too.

I switched through a few, but I'm settling on ObsidianMD for now on account of markdown apparently being the most accessible for transferring to different software if the need ever comes.

Developing an interest in mental health topics -

I find that by researching more about mental health and things I've been diagnosed with, I'm more understanding and less stressed out about the things I've done in my life.

A lot of people look at their ADHD diagnosis and try to ignore it, but for me, I need to have an understanding of how my body and brain works in order to cope with it properly.

With that said, I usually look up things on ADDitudemag and books that I find on sale.

Understanding self-improvement isn't necessarily productivity -

This was one of the bigger things in my life I had to learn to understand, and to this day I'm still struggling.

Basically, just take the productivity rat race and put it in a corner for now, and start looking at yourself as a person and decide what will help you out the most.

For example, cleaning doesn't have to be productive, it just needs to be done so you can walk from point A to B.

Heyyy I'm pretty sure the Beehaw individual who posted here was me, sorry 'bout that! Not a mod for Beehaw but I didn't realize that their decision to defederate would affect already subscribed to communities. Didn't even realize what might've been wrong until I surprisingly enough got a notification about the issue!
