What exactly is an OS to you? All distros are operating systems because they ship all the tools and utilities need for the system to function (on top of a package manager).

The fact that the KDE devs didn't write that code themselves doesn't disqualify it from being an OS.

KDE neon is what they're selling

They're not the ones with their genetic data for sale on the dark web though...

So you're asking people what they do for a living?

Doing something for 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week makes you a lot better at that thing than other people.

I don't speak German, so apologies for the English comment.

That said, I know exactly what this meme is about lmao

There are no wrong answers, don't listen to people saying "this is better" or "do it this way". Maybe it'll help, but maybe it'll make you not like the community. If that's the way you feel, just do whatever you need to to get something to work.

There's a lot of choice, so make a choice and stick to it, but at the same time be open to change.

Also make backup of your data

Is your reddit home feed governed by some algorithm (other than the standard upvotes and downvotes)

This is what was addressed at the start of the comment, you can just roll back to a previous version. It's heavily ingrained in CS to keep every single version of your software forever.

Could you enlighten us with the story please?

I wouldn’t expect the same behaviour/rules/culture in a shit posting community compared to an arch linux community

What's the difference?

Yeah it's gonna be quite an interesting event. Most of reddit's newer userbase doesn't seem to care, but then again the mods of major subreddits do.
