One of my all-time favorite wallpaper finds (LINK: https://wallhaven.cc/w/g8xlxd). The Waybar and Hyprland window borders are color sampled directly from the wallpaper itself. The other color/icon/cursor/terminal themes are listed in the fastfetch output.

Just plain old XFCE with "off the rack" configuration. Just like how this background looks with the Kripton-GTK theme and Gruvbox-Plus-Dark Icons.

Playing with deep reds and greys on Hyprland.

My first real attempt at ricing. Working with Hyprland. Color palette inspiration from Kripton-GTK with Gruvbox-Dark icon set.

Seems to be working OK for me on FF with Ublock and Privacy Badger running.

I looked at LBRY for a while, but it kinda looked like the "trashy tabloid" section of the internet.

There should be a horror spin off with Willie Wonka long gone, the Chocolate factory abandoned, and Oompa Loompas going feral. A group of young adults exploring the abandoned factory come to realize that, every time they hear the "Oopa Loompa Song", one in their group is doomed. They lyrics of the verse provide clues as to who it's going to be.

"Plutocracy" is the term for "Financial Oligarchy" BTW. Worth knowing the term if you live in the U.S. since that's kinda what we have here these days :/

I don't know, this person has done a lot of decent things in his life. I'm not inclined to judge him by his worst decision.

I like to use OpenRGB to monitor operating temperature. The CPU fan reads the CPU temp, the window in front of my graphics card reads the GPU temp, and, for now, I have my keyboard reading the NVMe temp (just recently installed the NVMe). My mouse color is set by Piper/libratbag so I know what preset I'm using.

This YouTube from Gamers Nexus is not monetized and appears to do a pretty good job addressing it.

I'm not really that familiar with LTT. I did subscribe to his channel, mainly because I was bemused by him borking his PC by rushing an install of Pop_OS and Steam. ("yes, do as I say", if you recall). Reading the PC Gamer article, it appears he did the same, "just drive on without thinking it through" approach to this prototype cooler. I haven't watched a lot of his videos and anyone can make a mistake but, there is an expectation that a "tech expert" show a bit of diligence. Plus, if he's showcasing a vendor, he should make sure they have every chance to shine.
.
.....this guy is starting to look like a poser now....

Unsubscribed from the LTT channel now. To be honest, I mainly followed it because I was amused this "tech influencer" borked his PC trying to install Pop_OS.

I think my favorite part of this is that "man rm" is probably a lot simpler than feeding this question to an AI bot.

Been Alpha, and now Closed Beta testing an new MMO, Palia. (https://www.palia.com/). It's a "casual" MMO more around crafting and community building than the typical "Murder Hobo" dynamic. If it sounds interesting, check it out. If you do sign up, use my link (below) because I can get some cool in-game stuff if you do and you'll get an in-game fruit basket when it goes open Beta.

I thought that was the Heterosexual Pride Flag? You know, blue for a man, pink for a woman, and white for the purity of God's love between them.

Golly, who could have imagined that some charismatic sociopath spreading conspiracy theories would feign remorse in court to reduce his sentence?

An MMO I've been part of alpha testing for is about to go into Beta. It's a neat idea, an MMO based more on crafting and community building than that typical "murder-hobo" dynamic.
