Hopefully this is good.
I think a prequel is a better setup for a series than anything in the current continuity.
I really liked Fargo (the series), so Noah Hawley's involved is a good thing in my book.

I am not going to get into the drama around Oscar nominations, however, I will disagree with Brolin that Part II was the better film.
I am a huge Dune fan (have read all the Frank Herbert Dune books, have read Dune and Dune Messiah at least 10 times and have read the others books in the series several times).
Part I was relatively focused and was an excellent representation of the introductory part of the book. Part II simply did too many things at the same time. I spoke to many people who watched the (new) movies, but never read the book and they found many components of Part II to be a bit confusing.
Honestly, they should have gone with a trilogy. Dune is basically written as a 3 act book. The intro which Part I captures perfectly. Paul Atreides and Jessica Atreides' integration into Fremen society is the second act. And the third act culminates with the resolution of the narrative.
Part II is a great film, just it could have been better if it was split into two.
It seems they get enough viewership to make it financially viable.
Plot outline sounds solid (not watching the trailer). Will have to be on the lookout for this one.
Like the scifi feel on this one.
Never seen this one. Sounds like my kind of horror. Will have to check it out.
Thanks!
Ping me if I don't get back to you in a few days.
It's a dope track! 😀 Dubstep, but with a more downtempo (UK garage?) feel.
This is actually a well done scifi anthology series that respects many of the themes and motifs present across Philip K. Dick’s works.
While I have not read the short stories (I've mostly read his novels; about ~20 of them), many of the episodes have that psychedelic edge that Philip K. Dick is known for.
Found-footage for the most part tends to be very formulaic. While Butterfly Kisses clearly pays respects to Blair Witch Project (the director even has a small role in it), it is also an original take on the sub-genre.
The director took part in reddit's horror community and answered questions. Sadly he passed away due to suicide.
I actually think this is a fair take and I see where you're coming from. There is definitely a certain type for "streaming service sci-fi" shows and Silo falls into it. I had the same reaction to "Man in the High Castle" and I decided to skip The Rings of Power and Foundation because of this.
I am a huge fan of FO1/FO2 (and New Vegas), but I've given up on the franchise otherwise (there are better modern alternatives).
I guess with Silo it helped that I never read the novels. I can't watch shows that butcher the core concept of my favourite novels. I am also curious about the lore. On the bright side, I did start reading the Silo books.
The US series COPS.
I also enjoy watching 90s era cartoons; TaleSpin or Darkwing Duck (specifically those two).
In both cases, I watch them on the second monitor while doing something else.
This is an upcoming romantic comedy slasher for those who don't like watching trailers.
