I could be wrong, but I think they're referring to all the middle class Chinese who were using housing as an investment vehicle (cause that was a common thing in China to my understanding).

Thanks, I'll have to take a look into that, I can definitely tell the microsd struggles (and it would free up my microsd slot for extra steamos storage).
Is that faster than loading it on a microsd card? That's how I currently boot windows on my steamdeck, but it's a little slow to load and initial loads for some games can be painful.
Yeah they took that prediction an odd step too far.
I get that, but also we shouldn't have 1/5 of the bill (if 25% tip) hidden behind an expected tip.

I have an SD card with windows installed so I can run windows games without dual booting. It takes a while to startup, but is fine once it gets going.
Certainly not ideal, but that's a whole OS and it's decent.
What about other emergencies, like a kid breaks a bone at school/etc.? Would you not be able to help the kid?

Yeah, you rarely hear people complain about music streaming apps because they don't have (as much of) an exlueitivy problem. Apple/Google/Spotify/etc. Are competing on service/cost/features.
With things like wsl, conda has also become less useful. Anaconda is terrible software and the need for conda managed packages is mostly lost outside of the windows OS in my opinion.
