Which headset did you use? I had the same experience with my old Rift. Got a used Quest 2 recently and all my problems just vanished. I can even do smooth locomotion now which was impossible before.
Might be worth checking out some newer tech in case your HMD was first gen

Since i work in media i can tell you with 99.9% certainty that's not an AI-generated voice. It's just cut a bit too tightly and the super low quality of the audio track doesn't help either.
Danke, Beyond Meat finde ich auch sehr gut für Burger und mache ich auch öfter. Like meat habe ich noch nicht probiert. Wenn das in Richtung Veggie Nuggets von BK geht werde ich die auf jeden Fall auch mal probieren, muss aber sagen bei paniertem Zeug reichen mir in der Regel auch Spinatstäbchen oder sowas. Da braucht es das Fleisch mMn gar nicht so.
Was ich einfach nicht hinkriege, ist Hack und Steak zu ersetzen. Mich packt dann öfter mal so eine barbarische Fleischeslust, dass ich wie ferngesteuert in den Supermarkt renne und mir einfach 400g Hack mit ein bisschen Alibi-Gemüse reinziehe.
Klingt total bescheuert aber ich komme einfach nicht dagegen an :)

Do you have data to back that up? I can image that the Russians deliberately use rape and torture as a kind of weapon to demoralize Ukrainians, though.
The fact that Ukrainians don't seem to rape captured Russians comes down (I assume) to two things:
Ukraine needs NATO support and it would be a really bad look for them if they raped their prisoners
Most soldiers are (straight) men and I think there are a lot more opportunities for the invading Russians to rape than there are for Ukrainians
Doesn't make it any better but rape was always a part of pretty much any war in human history

The OG Vive is a really horrible experience compared to modern VR headsets already. There are incredible technological advancements being made and to say all VR is doing is waiting for some Star Trek technology is incredibly ignorant. And frankly an insult to those super talented engineers that are breaking new ground on a yearly basis.
