Yeah. I can't code but I can follow instructions to compile an app and add my own API key. But given everything that's happened I sure as hell am not going to bother.

Sorry but that's wrong. The "subscribe pending" thing is just a known bug currently. It means you're actually subscribed but the server on one end hasn't acknowledge it yet due to load.

You can test it out yourself, "subscribe pending" communities show up in your "Subscribed" feed.

You can search for other posts about the issue but here's one example: https://lemmy.ca/post/666272

hahaha this is hilarious.

I'm also surprised it took the mods this long to realise they've been doing unpaid labor.

On top of what everyone else said, this is why big brands screen ads to make sure they're acceptable.

I know he's appeared in the new movies before, but I still think Benjamin Cabbagepatch would make a good Data.

Corporations are polluting like nobody's business and ignoring the bulk of the proble, then passing off the responsibility to individuals where they can. Gestures like "use less plastic bags" and "use less straws" mostly help save money, and aren't enough to stop the planet from dying.

We already know it's a Russian group, but I guess they're looking for proof that it's linked to the Russian government?

it's still happening though.

yeah what's your intent here?

if you want to see content on other instances, just use your lemmy.ml and switch to "all".

If you don't like specific communities, you can block them regardless of where your main account is.
