I jumped to 14700k from 9700k. For gaming/productivity but also like Joeh mentioned, im more familiar w overclocking w Intel.

I just made that exact upgrade and holymoly it was a nice jump. 7700k to 9700k now to 14700k. 2k games are maxed out at 165fps now regardless of the game
