I did, lol, for some reason I counted top-bottom there when originally writing??

I saw a video on YT Yesterday with 2 decent 9/11 jokes:

"Saying you're a a COD Zombies fan is like saying you're a 9/11 fan, people ask if you mean before or after it all came crashing down"

Which sets up later:

"I apologize for that 9/11 joke. I know for many people it can be shocking, and then the second one hits" followed be a few seconds of silence

Which legitimately got an out loud chuckle out of me

Didn't see anyone else point it out so:

~~Second~~ fourth, I'm an idiot, panel, upper-right, on the comic panel on the wall

Yeah, those are the details!

It does actually work, and I assume it's entirely because of what the other reply said

Capitalism is shit, hopefully more people can learn about this because it IS nice, even more hopefully the law gets changed to end it

I know my dad and I played Ace Combat, Crash Bandicoot, and Independence Day when I was suuuuuper young, so it's probably one of those 3

Horrifically enough I remember equating one of the power-ups in ID to the shirt Steve from Blues Clues wore (this might legit be my earliest memory period) so it's probably that steaming pile of garbage

You're super likely to not need them yourself, the companies you've dealt with will likely have their records digitized for the 7 required years (or more)

Keep them for 1-6 months to make sure no funny business happens (I've caught my ISP pulling bullshit and proved it with my last 6 bills kept) and then shred them and you'll be fine

Oh, and try to get anything you can sent to an email with privacy, then they come digitized and can be kept forever with no real effort

You can completely opt out of the credit card spam ones with a simple sign up on a federal website, but I forget the exact one and am too lazy to hunt it down. Only lasts 5 years though

Or you can do a full mail in thing for the lifetime one, might do that since I just hit my 5 year and started getting spam again

I think I was the only pre-teen that knew of Cab Calloway and could sing "hi-de-ho" .

I thought the same thing at that age, and then my music teacher at the time was like "oh hey fun fact I played Minnie The Moocher with Callaway before he died" and busted out a picture of him with Callaway

He and I both played trumpet so I learned how to play those lines from someone who performed with the legend himself, and Ive always thought that was one of the coolest things I've ever done

Caffeine and nicotine are legit organic insecticides, that might be a deeper joke about coffee and cigarettes powering development

maybe because it's a brand account attached to a Google account

That's exactly why, actually. Your subscriptions are tied to the normal account, I actually had the exact same issue.

You should be able to find a screen that lets you select between the two by clicking your avatar, I believe

It would start at 90%, but drop for reasons the other reply said

Also: no longer would it be advertised as a browser to everyone who visits the Google search page. No longer will a conglomerate of what should be like 20 different companies in 14 different sectors be able to easily manipulate every website into optimizing for their products, so the average user will feel far less inclined to stay with them if there's an alternative that works better for them
