Oh yes the voluntary dietary habit of taking a sentient being's life against its will because it's tasty and I can't be bothered to learn how to cook properly using plants.

About the second point, it would be neat if "subs" could federate somehow.

Google has already been a worthless pos for years. Impossible to get relevant results, even with operators. You just get ads and irrelevant SEO sites. And adding "reddit" at the end of the query will probably not work so well in the future either, seeing how that site has also gone to shit.

And they have already tried monopolising the entire internet with their amp bullshit.

So this is just in line with their vision of making the whole internet into a pile of burning shit under their total control.

If you click on "more" you can also see everyone who up/downvoted and boosted a comment/post. So seeing that you upvoted/boosted yourself might be frowned upon by some. But who cares

Yeah it's crazy, they also kicked out the chairman of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD), David Nutt because he used data to show that the UK ranked the harm of drugs incorrectly, and showed that using MDMA was less harmful than horseback riding.

He was asked to go because he cannot be both a government adviser and a campaigner against government policy.

I guess facts have no place in government policy.

Wasn't usa founded by literal puritans? So it sorta makes sense from a historical/cultural perspective

They didn't care/enforce it during the whole anime_titties/worldpolitics shenanigans, so either new or enforced when they feel like it. Centralised control sure is great.
