The recall affected packages of ground beef and ground beef patties shipped to distributors in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Michigan.

For once I'm glad to live in Florida.

Always go with the personal jesus. Everyone can get one tailored to their own taste and there's no worry about leaving anyone out or having to follow his teachings and shit. My dad wants an anchovy jesus that lets him be a racist, while my buddy wants a pepperoni jesus that lets him cheat on his wife while justifying it to himself. Personal jesus makes all of this possible.

With Night Country, there’s only one question: Was it worth resurrecting the long-dormant True Detective franchise — and without its original creator, Nic Pizzolatto?

Season 3 came out in 2019. I'm not sure that counts as long dormant...

Still I'm pretty excited for this one. I've liked all three to different degrees, although S1 is an absolute classic and the others aren't quite at that level.

And whenever it gets down to it, the people accusing him of it haven’t understood his show

How do you interpret this joke from his new show?

Let’s begin with the joke that got us going in “The Dreamer.” The late Norm MacDonald, we are told, had invited Chappelle to the filming of the movie "Man in the Moon," in which Jim Carrey played cryptic comedy icon Andy Kaufman. To Chappelle’s dismay, Carrey remained steadfastly in character while on set.

Chappelle sighs, “I was very disappointed because I wanted to meet Jim Carrey and I had to pretend he was Andy Kaufman all afternoon. It was clearly Jim Carrey. I could look at him and clearly see it was Jim Carrey.” Which brings us to the punchline: “That’s how trans people make me feel.”

Because the only way I can read it is that he's saying trans people are inauthentic and fake, that they are pretending to be something they aren't. But maybe we just aren't as clever as you are and don't understand it. Right? Or maybe you just don't want to admit your favorite comic is a piece of shit.

I mean twitters most valuable assets were it's brand recognition and it's huge user base, including celebrities and politicians. So one of the things Musk does is throw away the branding, including the bird symbol which was featured on almost all corpo websites as a widget and replaces it with a generic X. He also opens the gates to previously banned racist sewer humans who trash the public image of the site. Advertising plummets. The user base is still pretty huge, but it's shrinking. At this point even if he sold it, for a fraction of what he paid, I'm not sure anyone could restore its previous reputation.

he’s probably just a crack head

Probably the part where he said that? "Just a crackhead" implying there is no other reason or explanation needed?

Trans people aren’t the fuel of these jokes

Have you heard the jokes? He absolutely hates us. He loves punching us. He brags about it.

You can be a chapelle fan or you can be a trans ally. You cant be both (gaslighting not accepted).

Wait, so he doesn't do a yearly transphobic comedy show where he delights in "punching down"?

Wheres the "straw man"?

But he's excited to collect millions from netflix for his yearly "transphobe comedy hour". He knows who the fans of that comedy are...
