We all start out learning the English spelling at school (like most Europeans). Some switch to American later in life, others stick with centre, colour, neighbour like me.
It's not like one makes more sense than the other. English has the silliest relationship with vowels and the alphabet of any language I've learned ๐

Agreed on Piacenza. I have the AdP Colonia aftershave, and I used to have a decant of the EdP.
The knots feel identical to me. Which one to chose would just be a question of preference re: handle shape IMO

I've only tried the two slants (Lo Storto, and Lo Storto Testa Gentile). I agree that they aren't scrapey
