Have built mine with wan being either a usb wifi dongle or usb rj45. Depending what is available
- this way i have full routing / etc and can use either wifi or cable for my client devices.

Has more value to the extreme extended warranty companies. Like world wide supply. Nordic computer. Verticom. And others around the globe.

Used to be the case in some countries that physical media is proof you have purchased legally. Even if you just keep the disks on a spindle (aka the spindles from writable media packs). This is how i keep my original media in the back of the cupboard.
