I wouldn't say Yu-Gi-Oh is toxic. There are a handful of decks or cards that could be considered toxic, but most aren't. The main difference between setting up a strong endboard or just using toxic cards like continuous floodgates is that you can break through the first one with your own strategies, while the second requires you drawing specific cards that, if aren't in your deck, you instantly lose.

In most most card games, the fun is slowly strategically gaining power while keeping your opponent in check over many turns, but in Yu-Gi-Oh that is condensed into 2-3 turns. The fun then is more in trying to set up a board of interruptions that stop your opponent, or trying to break down your opponent's board for a lethal strike; which is basically the same as other card games, just more streamlined.

As for turns taking too long, just know that most players are probably watching YouTube videos or doing some other task while you're playing your turn, don't worry.

I think Kashtira's main issue is consistency. Since Prosperity is limited and Terraforming is banned, opening Unicorn to go into full combo is rarer.

Not sure why they're hitting Labrynth either. For Runick, I'm glad Fountain was limited because it's unfun to play against, but cards like tcboo and Kaiser Colosseum should be hit instead.

Only if the application has a "start minimized" option, or something similar. I know Bitwarden has it.

Fedora is the perfect balance of stable and up-to-date, so that's what I'm using on my desktop. I've got Arch on another laptop too because it's so easy to use; it has my favorite package manager and basically every program in existence in the AUR.

No filesystem access for a flatpak app just means it cant read host system files on its own, without user permission. You can still give it files or directories of files through the file explorer for the app to work with, just that it's much safer since it can only otherwise view files in its sandbox.
