  1. In most text to image generator forked form popular AI image gen, there's usually a gallery for user uploads

  2. The gallery won't load all of post at once. When you scroll at the bottom at some extend, a [load more] button will appear. Just like when scrolling back to top of old comment. Click on it and more older post will be loaded.

  3. Admin could add custom ban prompt phrase in gallery, label them as NSFW, or even completely hidden from present. For example: no "old granny" in PG-13.

  4. The custom ban prompt function won't work anymore on loaded older post. The newly loaded post after clicked [load more] will show old granny in PG-13.

https://perchance.org/comments-plugin-oncomment-example Simple: Allow users to add a URL at the end of their nickname, which is hidden from their displayed nickname, but used as an avatar pic.

According to the tutorial, it is suggested to be simple. But because I am a newbie, I won't even able to do it after explained like I was five.

Every single time and I'm not the first one. Someone even wrote it down as guide for the newbie.

If you click [load more], it won't load on newly loaded older post. they will escape the jail

Well then it's a bug rather than a feature 🐛💢 It's somewhat wide known "rule". A few experienced users always teach the newbie that as a bro science

I apologize for the confusion; I did a bit of investigation and here’s the clarification:

  1. The filter I mentioned is located in the "Public Gallery," not in the generated batch shown to users. It operates as follows: after you generate NSFW content and choose to display your own NSFW (by turning off the filter in the dropdown located on pictures), and then go browsing "Public Gallery" with [none] filter applied, there will be no NSFW content visible in the "Public" gallery unless you generate NSFW content around 10 times. The NSFW content will not be displayed immediately; it's true that the batch you generated will be shown as you mentioned, but the public gallery won't.

  2. This hidden rule only applies to the "Public Gallery." If you visit any image generation for the first time and check a known NSFW gallery name, the NSFW content will appear without any further restrictions. You don’t even need to click "generate" at all.

It won't "immediately" show, even after selected the drop down. That's the issue.

Generally it's like that we have to visit the gen (and maybe chat consecutively) for 5 days for the "user" blue name command to show up.

The restriction is not only inconvenient, but also buggy. Users complained about not having access to user command for......reasons.

We could make nickname at once and freely changing them, and create account in any major website within 10 mins . It make no sense to wait for 5 days for a buggy blue name in Perchance.

Also the "low trust score" in blue name naming is another headache and I suggest removing it too

It's solved by TAPgiles in Discord

There's a regex that checks for bad stuff in the title/description: /white.*power/i Which matches on your description which contains: "whiteboard drawing with tldraw—powered by Stable Diffusion."
Adjust that, and your generator should show up again.

I noticed something odd on Perchance recently regarding how generators appear in the "Recently Updated" list. Specifically, our generator, ai-furry-generator, seems to be missing from the page even though it should be there. I confirmed its existence by using Ctrl+F and searching the HTML for // Manual block list, but our generator isn’t in the blocklist.

Within just 30 minutes, I tested across two devices and three browsers, and the issue persisted—our generator is simply not showing up.

Digging further, I found this line in the HTML:

// gens that are spamming save to stay at the top of the list for several days, but making literally zero changes.
// i think because they are earning affiliate revenue with their links

I understand the reasoning behind this. It’s a great idea to prevent abuse and ensure fairness by avoiding spammy behavior. However, in our case, we have multiple admins who frequently upload custom emojis, fix bugs, and ban trolls. This means multiple saved updates within a day are inevitable for maintaining quality.

It feels counterproductive that our efforts to consistently improve the generator and engage with users might be interpreted as spamming the update system. Isn't it reasonable to save progress often to avoid losing unsaved work or to fix bugs as soon as they’re found? Being dedicated shouldn’t feel like a punishment.

Maybe there could be better alternatives for showcasing generators instead of relying solely on "last updated" status. For example:

  • A "Trending" section based on popularity
  • A "Most Visited" tab
  • A "Newly Created" category

(Admittedly, I’m not sure how hard these are to implement—just throwing ideas out there.)

I want to clarify that my complaints are based on assumptions, but the fact remains: our generator is missing and not showing up.

I’d love to hear others' thoughts on this. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues or has insights into how this system works?

No, I don't believe that's the cause. How could Perchance know who is whom?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

yeah that's what happened

If the mods password is set. Editing place holder text in any rooms will results in that particular room cannot scroll back to previous history. That button will disappear. It might be resolved spontaneously by time, or changing the mods password, or reverse the placeholder text.

Someone told me it's net downvote counts? However in some case it took many downvotes to take down a score of -1.5 or -2.0. is it because of delay?

About text to image plugin, Anyone happen to know:

hideIfScoreIsBelow = -1.5 ...or -2.0...etc

The value is a ratio or count? For example how do I make it blocked when upvote < downvote, Or downvotes > 5?
