How exactly does that prevent spam, vs just using other existing established verification methods like email validation? If the only goal is preventing spam, its overkill, and other web sites who also have to contend with spam don’t use it.

It's trivial to create new accounts and emails to verify those accounts. It is not trivial to get a new phone number since virtual numbers are blocked by the verification process.

There exists other words that start with gi but use the soft g, gin for example. But regardless, the pronunciation of one word is not determined by the pronunciation of other unrelated words.

Neither have sauce in them, they are more akin to a calzone

A driver that doesn't know the standard road signs and road laws is more dangerous. Stopping in the middle of the road to figure out what a common sign means isn't being careful, it's being a bad driver and making the road more dangerous for everyone else.

The thing is, you're not putting a dissertation on one of these signs. You're already supposed to yield on a solid green if you're turning left without a green arrow, that's already the law. This sign is a reminder for the stupid people about something they're already supposed to do, not allow someone who's never driven in their life to learn the laws as they go.

You're ignoring the giant green circle on the sign, which means you yield on green solid, not green arrow. Green arrows give you right of way. If you're in the US and drive, please learn the road signs

That's not what the definition said, realise is just the British spelling. If you re-read the definition in your screenshot, it says both realizes and realises are 3rd person present

I believe the developer is in complete control of the pricing on steam, so it would be the developer being shady

you can, yes. it's called hard drive shucking and is extremely common.

The chance of you rolling [6,6,6,6,6,6,6,6] is the same chance of rolling [1,5,3,2,3,5,3,4] that's how randomness works

The 16 on the stick is because it's sold as a 16g kit, and the 8 on the internal name is because that stick is an 8gb stick. Yes, this is common

At first I thought this was some strawberryish mixed berry flavor or something, but then I saw someone describe it as strawberry yogurt flavor and I have to 100% agree with that. Not the worst and probably the least coke tasting creation so far.

These have 3 flavors, apple cider, caramel apple, and cranberry apple. They are one of the least sour flavors, but let me tell you, these are so good if you're a fan of apple flavor. These are pretty hard to find so I ended up just getting a case from Amazon but it is well worth imo

Fanta has released a mystery flavor for Halloween 2023. It smells like gummy worms to me, tastes maybe like blue raspberry? Apparently this flavor is zero sugar only and uses sucralose and acesulfame potassium as it's sweeteners.

I was somewhat disappointed that the chips are only cool ranch flavored and not cool ranch Dorito flavored. In the end, it's a ranch chip, can't go wrong

A very odd tasting flavor... I did not enjoy this at all. It does taste pineapple-ish but in a weird way, and it doesn't really work for me

French's has collaborated with Skittles to roll out fun-sized packets of mustard flavored skittles to celebrate National Mustard Day on August 5.

These are great. Soft baked cookies with sprinkles and white chocolate chips and a birthday cake flavor. I'm going to be getting more next trip to the grocery

I like this a lot. If someone didn't tell me what flavor this was supposed to be I would guess cinnamon toast crunch. It's got a nice amount of cinnamonyness to it but nothing that says churro specifically.

Wanted to mount a power strip to a table so designed a little bracket that just zip ties to the table leg and got lucky with it working perfectly first try, feels good man

A very interesting choice of flavor. It basically tastes like bell pepper juice with the slightest hint of lime and spiciness. I would not recommend if you want something that actually tastes good...because it doesn't. But of course I would recommend it if you just want to try something different.

I love snickerdoodles so these were pretty tasty to me. The cookie texture is very soft, almost reminds me of their muffin. It's got a nice cinnamony flavor, would recommend.
