I would want to undervolt my 14700K to minimize some of the power draw and especially because I experience thermal throttling. I am a noob in this but willing to learn but would need some guidance in what direction I should direct the settings.

Mobo: Gigabyte Z790 UD AX (REV. 1.0)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance - DDR5 - 64 GB: 2 x 32 GB - 288-PIN - 6600 MHz / PC5, XMP profile 1 enabled
AIO: MSI MAG CORELIQUID P240

Currently the settings are: (I can always provide more if needed)
CPU VAGX 0.9V
DRAM vdd 1.4V
CPU vccin aux 1.8v
VCC1P05: 1.05V
VCC1P8V: 1.8V
VDD2_XPU: 1.35V
V0P82_PCH: 0.82V
V1P8_CPU: 1.8V

Power limit: 280w
Vcore current protection extreme
Vcore loadline calibration: High

Thanks for any help in this.

WSL2 Ubuntu and today I installed Linux Mint with VMWare to play around a bit and I like it.

Yeah. The M1 is great, don't get me wrong but it wasn't doing it anymore for my big software projects.

On the contrary.

I made the same switch OP, and went from M1 Pro to 14700K. It's night and day. DDR5 6800 here.

You've done something more than that, be honest.

I use Taiga, it fills my needs.
