Ah, I thought it was like Dragon Age: Origins or even Skyrim. Because yeah, that is the Fable that I remembered. The appearance is affected by our action but we cannot create a hero to our liking.

For any games without explicit support, you need to force enable the compatibility layer for it. Should be on the settings menu.

Wait, fable has a feature to create our hero? I thought the hero was predetermined. Forgive my ignorance since I only ever played The Lost Chapter. I hope MS will give fable the Halo treatment so I could play the other series too.

Can confirm. I have DA:O on steam and running Arch linux. It works flawlessly IMHO. Haven't encountered any bugs so far either

No, not just the installer. Actually the installer doesn't even matter here as its sole purpose is placing the binary. GPL applies when you make modifications to the program AND you distribute the program. GPL states that you MUST also give the source of the modified binary WHEN requested by those who got the modified program (this is very simplifying it)

I mean, recognition is literally the task that is always used for intro to machine learning. From facial recognition and other biometric, handwriting, object recognition. It isn't a surprise that "AI" is able to outperform humans in this task since sometimes AI can pick up features that are too subtle for us to notice. The problem is LLM being hailed as the truth machine or AGI. LLM to NLP is what CNN and GAN is to image processing tasks.

This is a very fucking apt analogy!

Instagram by Meta has started using user generated content for their training data. Naturally users are upset about this and are flocking to a new platform named Cara made by an artist which has principle and are actively fighting for artist copyright. Cara uses Vercel to host their platform. The problem is that the sudden influx of users means bigger bills to pay to handle those traffic (I think they are billed around ~$96k). As of now, it is unclear how they will proceed to pay the bills. The creator of Cara didn't want to compromise his stance by accepting any money willy-nilly, but also acknowledged that angel investors are not easy to find.

I can imagine it being used to test various older cards or other esoteric hardware
