Interesting, I now have eye cancer from reading that.

I never watched Boba Fett because the concept was so stupid, I just couldn't. Retcon for profit.

I watched it, thought the plot and the end were totally transparent and predictable. Thought the acting was pretty bad, the fighting was laughable at times, and the reveal at the end a complete waste of time, but I still enjoyed it. I would have watched a second season.

Nothing will ever be as bad as Kenobi.

More copaganda about encryption. More copaganda about the left wanting to be heard at the most important time before a candidate is selected largely by corporate interests.

Used to work in the industry. The common joke was that Starbucks is a dairy business with a side coffee business. They move a hell of a lot of dairy. They had word-of-mouth and an insatiable appetite to fill every strip mall. I wouldn't say their coffee was ever good or great. It just had to be better than McDonalds which is not saying much. Good business plan though.

Yep, can't have anyone providing aid to the people they are genociding. More to the point, the existence of the tunnels is irrelevent. They may exist; they might not exist for a particular IDF campaign. Bringing them up in media is clearly a proven mechanism for manufacturing consent. No fact checking required, what the IDF says goes.

From the wikipedia page:

Within the coffee industry, kopi luwak is widely regarded as a gimmick or novelty item. The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) states that there is a "general consensus within the industry...it just tastes bad". A coffee professional compared the same beans with and without the kopi luwak process using a rigorous coffee cupping evaluation. He concluded: "it was apparent that luwak coffee sold for the story, not superior quality...Using the SCAA cupping scale, the luwak scored two points below the lowest of the other three coffees. It would appear that the luwak processing diminishes good acidity and flavor and adds smoothness to the body, which is what many people seem to note as a positive to the coffee.” Professional coffee tasters were able to distinguish kopi luwak from other coffee samples, but remarked that it tasted "thin". Some critics claim more generally that kopi luwak is simply bad coffee, purchased for novelty rather than taste. A food writer reviewed kopi luwak available to American consumers and concluded "It tasted just like...Folgers. Stale. Lifeless.

Oh I know 😆. Setting a bar like this also has the ability to be memeified. Bonkers.

Yeah I was simply making the point about Israel being the primary cause for this conflict using the uncited and perhaps made up quote from the article. "If Hezbollah can build tunnels, why can't they provide electricity and water to their communities?"

The tunnels made or perhaps not made by ~~Hamas~~ ~~Houthi~~ Hezbollah are always used as a reason to bomb.

Report: Eintracht looking for technical director

Eintracht Frankfurt is apparently drawing its conclusions from the past season and, according to the Frankfurter Rundschau, has identified a vacuum around the position of sports director Timmo Hardung. Accordingly, the Bundesliga club is planning to create a position, "for example that of a technical director, who will work at the interface between the professional team, coaching team, sports director and sports director". The newspaper names former Eintracht players Gelson Fernandes and Pirmin Schwegler as well as Marco Neppe, who previously held the same position at FC Bayern, as candidates.

I make tonkotsu broth and keep it around for when I need something warm and comforting. It has soft boiled soy sause infused ramen eggs, spring onion, and nori.

I need to step up my game and keep some roasted and pureed garlic and toasted sesame around but this will do at my desk at work.

Despite bodies of evidence, Missouri moves forward with adding lanes to interstate 70 highway without any public transit infrastructure additions. We know the outcome already.
