What are things that you think would be useful for others if they also knew it too? in c/[email protected]

Additional suggestions for pc/laptop

ffmpeg for audio and video
pdftk for pdf

Used these for simple tasks, eg cropping/converting movie formats, taking out/combining pdf pages. Both are fast and light and havent failed (so far).
