Yeah I'm curious how they get that number. I look at it as my math is Internet ($50)+Hulu Bundle ($21)+Prime($12) is $83/mo

People suck. Unfortunately I find I'm constantly having to cater to other people's feelings but when something upsets me, I'm still somehow in the wrong.

I blame the 24 hour news cycle and end of the Fairness Doctrine. It has allowed editorializing and "spinning" of news stories as opposed to being factual and objective.

Reddit only started hosting images and videos a couple years ago. That alone would massively add to costs. It's self inflicted and seems it was planned in an effort to keep people on the platform instead of linking to imgur to view the picture.

They brought the added overhead on themselves
