There is at least one smbc for everything Smbc comic where a man and a woman discuss all the useless things kids learn in school

If they put as much money into these foss projects as they where giving microsoft before, maybe Libreoffice will become halfway decent.

I use Libreoffice and it's fine for a non-power user, but it sure has some rough edges

I coincidentally saw the only stuffed specimen of this species last weekend and I didn't even realise it was special, because it was just standing between the other animals without a sign saying it was thought extinct or anything.

Yeah I guess, but because it's so linear all the discussions are running through each other and messy. So if someone asked a question I'm interested in I then have to read a whole lot of messages to see if maybe someone said something relevant about it.

Also, the messages are not indexed by search engines, which has its advantages, but for a tech/ support channel it doesn't make much sense.

Can someone explain to me why some communities do their communication using something like Matrix? I'm a member of some open source/ tech channels on Matrix that I am somewhat interested in or need suppport from. Every time I check my app I have line 1k unread messages. Like, does anyone have the time to read all that? Besides trying to find if a question I have has already been answered is pretty cumbersome.

That doesn't mean I don't think Matrix is great, but it just doesn't seem like the best fit for that application

I thing english also used to do this right? Saying 2 and 90 surely sounds old timey

Yeah, I think the show had some fun ideas, but Walter ruined it for me. His absent minded scientist routine was really stale and forced.

Besides that they made no attempt to make the science somewhat believable. The man might as well just be a wizard.

I would call it existential horror. It has a threat that is beyond understanding and a faith possibly worse than death for some characters.

Apart from that it has great themes. A fantastic movie overall

The processer has Linux support though. Isn't it more the device drivers that are the problem?

If thie phone gets mainline linux support I wil buy it in a heartbeat.

Does anyone have an idea if there is a chance that the FP5 will work better on Linux than the FP4? If it gets on par with the OP6 but with a functional camera I will buy this phone in a heartbeat.

The processer looks good, since it has Linux support, but usually it's the device drivers that are the real problem.
