Is there anything you guys think that could help you with your self host experience or any service that you wish there is a self hosted version?

Should I get this VPS for hosting a basic website for myself? This is a private hosting service that my friend's friend runs. in c/[email protected]

You can get bare minimum aws ec2 at about this price

Looking for simple set up DNS server suggestions (alien.top)
 

I only want it do one thing, gives the locally configured IP address when it has the records. Otherwise go talk to 8.8.8.8.

Any suggestions?
