If you want a completely free alternative, you can use the Minecraft server on a old computer and playit to access it from outside your network. It's harder to set up but it's free.

In my experience, the best cracked launcher is UltimMC, it's MultiMC but with cracked accounts support.
For me connecting the phone to the computer and copying the files works
Just use uBlock Origin and the site wont show any ads unless you have adware on your computer
