Can you try clearing your browser cache and cookies? The forgot password issue is something I'm working on at the moment

I use Mlem on ios. Still really early but it gets significantly better with every new release

I agree with all of you and think artists and others alike should be able to share their work and allows other to contribute to their passion. Should we just remove the No Ads from the rules? Maybe the answer is to modify the rule. I just to make it clear that I don't want users aimlessly ad spamming the communities.

Report them. We’ll sort them out.

This is something I looked at as well and an option. It does require someone to volunteer their time and make the tool. Sounds like a fun project but I'm already stretched pretty thin so it would have to be someone else.

This is a known issue, specific to this instance that I'm working on solving. The weekend is almost here so I'll have a little more time to sort this out in the coming days.

Hey everyone, woke up this morning with this news. This news really comes at a surprise as I have not seen or heard of any trolling coming from members of this community. I also have not been approached by their admins to see how we could collaborate. In either case, I'll be attempting to reach out to their admins and discuss a path forward together.

I'll post an update with the details in the coming days.

Lemme has the ability to do some theming. If someone from the community wants to take on getting a new theme created I'll install on this instance as an theme option for everyone to use.

So this has been fixed. itjust.works should redirect properly to sh.itjust.works now

Not to throw you under the bus @[email protected] but that's not exactly how I recall it going down. Everything in your story is accurate with the exception of where the conversation happened. It happened on a Lemmy instance!. The conversation started on the lemmy.ml is overloaded, use other instances instead post. If you are indeed the same user who recommended the name you definitely get a token of recognition for coming up with it!

I am no lawyer, however I do not see a problem with subscribing to NSFW communities outside of this instance. I'd go as far as saying that should you want to contribute to these external communities you can do so as long as you are not using the built in image hosting service to store your content. There are external platforms such as redgifs that could be used to store this content as long as it fit within their TOS.
