I'd second this. Knowing that the back-end is built on Rust was definitely big part of drove my excitement for this project!
I'm being a little private about the total amount of disk assigned to this instance for now. I do plan on sharing these details when I have implemented a viable solution. That being said I can tell you that with the amount of current users and activities this instance is growing by about 20GB per day in disk size.

I love the custom themes idea! I’ve been spending most of my time ensuring the stability and scalability of this instance. I haven’t had a chance to review the lemmy documentation related to theming/styling. I’d love to see something custom but would have to rely on the community as styling is not one of my strengths. Would be fun to open up a competition and have everyone vote their favorite!

I will be posting an official announcement in the next couple of days regarding the addition of some admins to help out with the growth of user and also touch on NSFW communities. In short, while this instance does allow NSFW content we will need to (at least for the next bit) restrict pornography materials. This is due to a number of reasons which are mainly related to the legal implications. I will go more into detail regarding these reasons in the upcoming announcement.
