I would like to add that I'm getting this issue too, I can't subscribe to other communities on lemmy.ml (https://lemmy.world/c/[email protected] for example) The status is "pending" and has been like that for days

Totally agree with this, Reddit still has a lot of "collective knowledge" stored there.
