Most fans with a wireless control just a pull chain fan without the pull chain, and the wireless bit is a separate module. My home has two gang switch boxes for each bedroom and two hots running to each ceiling fixture (red and black). I was able to completely omit the wireless control that came with the fan and just direct wire everything to the switches. I used a dimmer and a fan control and they both work great. The only issue is that the LED doesn't have a linear dimming curve and it doesn't come on reliably below 10%.
