I swear this was in RvB. It's completely on par with what they'd say.
My 3rd grade teacher recognized me when I was in 12th grade. It's crazy how they remember.
Some have the sizes denoted as letters on them. Mine had an S for Small. Others had Ms, Ls, and a few XLs.
I just reread the first book and the line Jake writes "only in my memories" made me tear up.
And now I need some eye bleach
Mine were yellow 💛
I know I consumed more audiobooks this past year than physical books/ebooks. I drive a lot for work and listening to a good book helps make the long boring roads less boring.
The Libby app (formerly Overdrive) has been such a wonderful godsend. It's an app that you log into with your library credentials and you can borrow audio and ebooks right from your phone or tablet. I was able to binge the whole Dresden Files that way.
I can't fall asleep to an audiobook. I'm too invested in the story.
She is continually undermining our health (can't have high COVID numbers if we stop reporting it), and stripping away at our public schools (voucher program for private schools).
I may be just a transplant but I don't think I can get anymore pissed at this person. Can't believe she won the reelection.
Finally completed Little Inferno plus the DLC that apparently dropped last year(???!!!). I think it hit me harder than when I first played it years ago.
Too many 100 hidden [object] or Cats Hidden in [City] type games to count. None cost a whole lot, and I feel like I got my money's worth.
I'm trying to go through my growing digital libraries and complete what I can. (But we all know the winter sale is coming soon...)
Not sure if this would count, but here it is:
- Stovetop stuffing
- Canned chicken
Boil water amount on the box in the electric kettle. Drain canned chicken. (Some brands need to be rinsed because of the amount of salt in the broth they're canned in.) Add stuffing, butter (amount according to the box) and chicken into a bowl. Stir to incorporate. Add boiling water, stir again, and cover for 5 minutes. Fluff and serve.
I suggest using the low sodium version as there will be a lot of salt between the box of stuffing and canned chicken. Can also use leftover cooked chicken.
They left her waiting, knowing the baby was already dead, increasing her risk of potentially deadly complications. I see no problem here. The dead baby should have been removed.
She should not be charged with anything. There is medical neglect going on here and it's obvious to me that her life was in jeopardy the longer she carried the dead baby.
I lost my last pregnancy at 20+ weeks due to premature break of my water. I didn't even realize it had happened, the pregnancy was wanted even if it wasn't planned, and I am still dealing with the trauma (and the hospital bills). All I can think of is I'm thankful it happened when it did and my doctor didn't hesitate to induce labor - a medical induced abortion - so my life would be okay. (And I was able to get a copper IUD placed because I know my mental health could not survive the potential loss of another child.)
This poor woman... She is traumatized and our trash legal system wants to fine her and jail her. She needs support and love, not more debt and punishment. I screamed and cried in the hospital surrounded by support medical staff. She was in her bathroom...
This makes my blood boil. The government should have zero say in private medical decisions. Abortion is no one's first choice.
I think I may start quoting this when people ask why I don't like Walmart. I think the article helped convey how much sway the company has over the state. It's scary. Glad I no longer live there.
