A Soulslike (also spelled Souls-like) is a subgenre of action role-playing games known for high levels of difficulty and emphasis on environmental storytelling, typically in a dark fantasy setting. It had its origin in Demon's Souls and the Dark Souls series by FromSoftware, the themes and mechanics of which directly inspired several other games.

For the bigger screen and portability. My eyes aren't as good as they used to be. My gaming laptop's fans are dying, and this would be cheaper than a new laptop (sadly, it's also showing it's age and cannot be upgraded further). I use my deck at home 99.99% of the time so it wouldn't be much more to setup a monitor along with it.
