There are more democratic reforms needed and a lot of how politics functions is based on the culture and current attitude.

They were excusing the attacks on schools, hospitals and safe zones.

They attempted to infiltrate Lemmy.ca during the BC election to worship their transphobic John Rustad. Calling someone “a paid activist” for calling out the B.C. conservatives.

The demagogues just want to take away all the compassionate things we have around the world by tearing down families with their propaganda and hate speech, threatening ethical companies who pay taxes but refuse to participate in shady behaviours, blackmailing teachers to treat their students poorly or else, shutting down libraries and taking away books that explain the experiences of others, attacking men for hugging and being there for their children, constantly mocking vegetarians and vegans, trying to remove representation of minorities of media that relate to people and their life situations.

I feel sorry for Sanders calling out that buffoon.
