Not if I invent them first. FREE SHIT FOR EVERYONE! I like chaos.

I know where you’re going with this and it is 100% what our internet famous generations would do today. In the era of “will it smash”, we test “will it crash”, all for views. The key thing about this movie though, it was after war and we humans were tired of fighting for scraps. So one would hope we wouldn’t need to see if our replicator will make 100 burritos because “why do you need them?”.

Yeah, that was a typo and my experience is limited towards the AWS side which is also facing this issue. But the numbers are there, some people have been at Amazon for a decade, so 20 months (if they had MY package of 2mos per year). Amazon was throwing everything at new hires, because they were making bank on their work.

They are getting severance when terminated, unless for cause. My comment was, this is how they avoid it by forcing people to quit.

Like many companies, they overhired in the last 4 years. Some of these people are due years of severance (my offer listed 2months for every year after 1 year), not to mention the vested stocks and other bonuses granted during this insane hot hire period.

So how do you remove people not loyal to the company? The most hated mandate ever. Amazon is a company that doesn’t need people in the office. This is nothing more than screwing people over.

My sister. Last year she begged me to do my charts for the next year. Said I would be happily married and on my way to the EU in a new job.

I’m divorced and unemployed. But hey, good news is she’ll do my charts over.

Been there my friend. 30 years together, and she ended it without warning with a weak excuse. Took me a year to realize she was a drain on my mental wellbeing and I’m now better off. But, for the first 10 years I can say life was good.

Today, life is way better.

The only people making more money will be the people that are already rich. Nice try though.

Actually, his eyelids were starting to droop towards the last 15min of the debate before his closing and while he was listening to Kamala. Slow and steady blinks. That man is running on drugs until he isn’t. Trump is tired.

Also, love the reference to doctor who.

An unannounced feature? I was working on my mac and had turned on the new immersive environment for a quick peek at the new one, and I see my mac keyboard showing through when my hands are near. Nice feature for sure.
