How do I tell the difference between a bad UPS or bad batteries? in c/[email protected]

Try unplugging the ups from the wall, does it correctly fail over to battery power but only last for a short period or do the devices lose power?

Does this worth 60 dollars and can it run a home server? in c/[email protected]
