Yeah there might be a difference, I have no clue. My take was large based on my own experience with having the occasional girl in my team as a kid, and up until about 12 they could keep up. The girls that played in coed teams were usually also much better players than the girls that just played in girls teams.

Yes this is absolutely true, but I don’t see how this applies to coed youth teams. This is a problem because of kids developing fast when they’re young so kids that are almost a year older will be further in their development. I don’t know if there is a difference but this doesn’t say anything about gender differences.
Up until a certain age it really doesn’t matter if the boys and girls are playing together, so this is a good thing to do. She’s talented enough if they decided this so this will be good for her development. A lot of people have played in teams with girls when they were young kids, who cares.
That’s Europe done probably, but that’s the least of our worries. At least during phases it did look like the improvement is continuing.
Akpom is invisible so far like he always is as a 10/second striker but I do like his energy and his interactions with his teammates.
First Akpom for Taylor and now Forbs for Hlynsson so you basically get a midfield with only Vos and Berghuis is really not going to help us to get anything from this game.
My god the space he got there
Maybe move Rensch to right back and get Sosa in, maybe that helps Bergwijn as well. He looked much better when paired with a leftback that overlaps like Martha did.
Van der Vaart and Sneijder did not think Steijn had to go at all, they were constantly saying that he’s a good manager but that the players are the problem. I have never heard either of them say a bad word about Steijn.
I’d rather look at what people with actual tactical knowledge have to say like Suley or Pieter Zwart instead of the populistic nonsense that comes out of Van der Vaart and Sneijder.
A lack of girls-only teams was definitely the core of it. I played with girls too but when more and more girls started to play football every club moved to girls-only teams. When I first started playing football my club only had 2 or 3 girls in every year group, when my younger sister started playing football they maybe had about 10-15.
