Sounds good to me. Please proceed, Mr. Santos.

I agree. Lemmy doesn't have to replace Reddit, it just has to be a working alternative.

Over time Lemmy may gain a much wider audience, but as long as it has enough users to be entertaining and informative, then it will be a good alternative to corporate social media.

Vote. In. Every. Election.

If you know an 18 year old, go to the polls with them. Help get them started. If you know someone whom doesn't vote, convince them to vote.

We outnumber all of these fascists and if we all voted (and I don't care who you vote for) then the power of these billionaire would be severely diminished.

Scott Walkers said that Republicans have to reach young voters with ideas that matter to them in order to make inroads. My question is, what are those conservative ideas apart from "tax cuts", "no" and "not like that"?

I'm 51 and started using the internet before HTML was a thing. This feels polished but also old school in a usenet / mud / telnet kind of way.

I'm liking it a lot.

How many people will you actually miss from Reddit once this takes off?

I wonder why gun owners aren't required to have liability insurance. Is it a 2nd amendment thing?

Are the Oathkeepers still a viable organization now that the leader has been convicted?
