Wait Bafta did this?? I grew up in the UK in the 80s with a ZX Spectrum, why no 'Manic Miner' or 'Jet set Willy'? Those were pretty influencial and actually British. Doom wasn't originally on console and super Mario is definitely from the 80s, wtf?

Welp, if one of the Trump's cluster fuck of cabinet morons post something incriminating on Lemmy, they might see the popularity that Signal is seeing... Not that would be a good thing for the US necessarily, but just a new fucking joke for the rest of the world. Still cannot believe the level of incopetence.

"Steam is a lot better now than it was in 2004, and issues with internet connectivity and always-on digital rights management (DRM) have mostly faded away as global internet infrastructure improve."

Uhm, unless Im misunderstanding this article from a year ago: Denuvo is alive and well, buddy.

And yes I too have a Mac, and mainly just stream to it because the hardware can't cope, but there's no way in hell I will drop the kind of money to Apple to even get close to my mid tier rig to play on it locally.

Honestly, I'm just happy that these guys are kicking against the dlc micro transactions normalization. And I love that they included a mini version of the card game in Dave the Diver!

Hmm..okay, so not actually a Telltale continuation then. Crap, I was actually more interested in a Wolf Among Us sequel.

The allegations put forth are that they DID resist, and his defense is that he didn't abuse anyone. As usual it will be decided on who has the better lawyers.

Sure, if you believe that he was totally blindsided and all these women never once said no. I can see how you might be baffled.

However, the history and volume of these incidents suggests a pattern of behavior.

The point I was trying to make is that he might not suffer legal consequences, but it sucks that one of the "good ones" may be (or has been) a massive sex pest for a long time and now the world is a little darker for it

I feel your skepticism ma dude, and I really wish it was all untrue because it feels like we have fewer and fewer roles models left. If it was one woman making these claims, then yeah without evidence it's a he said/she said standoff for the lawyers. But 15.... Damn that not just smoke, it's a fuckin forest fire.

You are entitled to keep your thoughts on his innocence until a court case - unless it's settled privately, in which case, who knows- but I guess you have to ask yourself what is more plausible at this point. That there's has been a dark side to him that the public never knew about or that all these women are out to get this guy, to go through the spectacle and media circus.

If you are still thinking, ah their just playing victims and are in it to get something. Money? Attention? Okay.... but ALL of them?!

Personally, what I find just as horrible is finding out that the comic biz has the same sort of enablers and public image cleaners that Hollywood does. God damnit... Things are never going to change.

Praise be to the Omnissiah! I pray to Him to let my latest Linux config spirit be calm and agreeable after this next reboot...

Huh... Did not have money on Sony blinking on this. Happy to be wrong. Guess that Steam revenue was getting threatened.
