Even though you add encoders on the wheels it’s still an open loop locomotion method, you need the room to have a feedback of the position on the plane/in the space

I try to go by ear, but i’m not that good, so i struggle a lot

If he designed and spec’d it like this he’d had his reasons… btw, he influenced a shit ton of musicians over the years, not me personally, even though i recognize the craft and touch, so he might be a bit of an authority in the field. There are way worse guitars designed by way worse guitarists… why do you care? Listen to what he plays instead of caring for the colours or shapes of a product that carries someone’s name

Post the results! I’m curious :)

Yeah, i understand but the thing is that if you want to access more stuff than what’s on the front panel… you got to access menus and submenus.. In the DeepMinds though there’s just the “edit” page of every section, it’s rather difficult to have to get past that, or the first page of the mod matrix

Awesome job man! I suggest locking tuners and graphite nut, the total cost should be under or around 100$/€ and they do make a difference!

I’m new and no synth expert, but i’ve to say that the versatility i found in Behringer’s DeepMind12 pleases me

I think you should use turrets, the board has mounting holes for a reason

Interesting, what guitarss you prefer the most with these kind of effect? I find single coils work best with vibratos while i prefer humbucker for chorus.. don’t know why

When i want to try hyped pedals or new stuff i try to build them, there are amazing kits on site like musikding.. Now i’m trying to design a mini sized DRV 1981, i’m waiting for the pcb manufacturer price to drop a little and then the first tests might start

This setup has been the longest lasting on my board.. i planned it for a long time on pedalplayground.com and then i put it together in one night. It’s the result of many iteration on a single-row boards, but in the end i’m happy with this 2-rows.

On the pedals: -the 2-footswitch blue one is a KoT clone that i built myself; -the white one next to the KoTclone is a 1981DRV clone that i also built; -the models i’m using on the mooer x2 are a 5150 lead channel for rhytm/chugs/lead parts and a fender twin (i believe) for the clean stuff and as a pedal platform; -on the Hall Of Fame2 i’m using a toneprint which has a modulated plate i believe.. -as you can see the corona mini is not in the rig, but i loaded a boss CE-2 toneprint.. i’m waiting to find a solution that fits everything and it’s as comfortable to use as this one; -the Flashback2 has an external tap tempo that i built which is amazing to control the time of the delay or to add functions to the built-in looper; Everything’s powered by an Harley Benton AC-10iso pro;

I go straight stereo wet/dry - wet into my interface and out on my presonus monitors on my desk. Feel free to ask anything about this rig :)

Uuuh! Nice! Seems you have a lot of grounds covered! My friend is on a N4 quest

I was right about to throw 150€ on it from a friend… then i saw that there is an ALMOST 1:1 replica in a toneprint on the corona mini and i went for it.. it’s not even a staple of my board, not even properly cabled, it didn’t make sense.. but o agree, i think it’s the best chorus out there
